Ship’s Log–December 11th

Day 10 of the Advocare Herbal Cleanse. Hooray? We’ll wait until tomorrow to give the final results, but don’t expect much. Unless there’s an alien wet-nurse waiting to trigger the sudden release of several pounds of chubby baby Adipose from my flesh while I sleep tonight, I think my end weight will match my beginning.

Today’s Fitness:

45 minutes MMA and 45 minutes BJJ

Breakfast:

  • Smoothie: banana, pineapple, frozen mango, chia seed, red leaf lettuce, romaine, kale, unsweetened soy milk, pinch of cinnamon, splash of vanilla extract, and water
  • Cinnamon raisin mochi with maple syrup
  • 1/2 grapefruit
  • Coffee

Morning Snack:

  • Ginger peppermint tea

Lunch:

  • Leftover black eyed peas and kale over grilled Portobello mushroom
  • Red leaf lettuce, romaine, and kale with cranberries, walnuts, and tequila lime vinegar
  • Coffee with holiday nog
  • Dark chocolate and  mini marshmallows

Afternoon Snack:

  • Apple with brown rice syrup-peanut butter sauce
  • Popcorn
  • Pre-class snack: Slice of yoga bread with peanut butter and 1/2 banana
  • Raspberry pineapple white tea
  • Cabernet cocoa tea

Dinner:

  • Salad: red leaf lettuce, romaine, kale, red onion, clementine, and cucumber with seared tempeh and sesame ginger dressing
  • Dark chocolate
