Ship’s Log–January 14th

I thought about running today. It wasn’t too cold, but it was raining. I decided that with all the cold and flu going around in the Things’ school and the dojo, I wouldn’t stress my immune system out by getting cold and wet. The weather looks ever so much better for the rest of this week.

Fitness:

28 push ups.

Breakfast:

  • Smoothie: banana, pineapple, frozen cherries, red leaf lettuce, romaine, kale, flax and chia seed, Warrior Blend Raw Protein, and water
  • Cinnamon raisin mochi with maple syrup
  • 1/2 grapefruit
  • Coffee with pumpkin pie spice, vanilla stevia and unsweetened soy milk

Morning Snack:

  • Green cherry tea

Lunch:

  • Hot red cabbage salad: red cabbage, tempeh bacon, shiitake mushrooms, chickpeas, cranberries, blackberry ginger balsamic, sriracha, and miso
  • Pan fried asparagus with chipotle mayo
  • Coffee with cardamom, vanilla stevia, and unsweetened soy milk
  • Piece of dark chocolate

Afternoon Snack:

  • Apple with peanut butter
  • White almond vanilla tea
  • Small dish of assorted proteins (chickpea nuggets and tempeh)

Dinner:

  • Peanut butter, banana, and jelly on yoga bread
  • Matcha green tea

Late night:

  • Small bowl of pasta with tomato sauce and vegan sausages
  • Oatmeal Stout
  • Dark chocolate
