Ship’s Log–February 18th

There was a lot of pain in my day. My neck is sooooo sore from last night’s clinch work. I made it through both classes tonight, but I had to take it fairly easy. Afterwards I drowned my pain in chocolate, which was probably not very helpful.

Fitness:

  • Morning: February Ab Challenge Day 18: 60 sit ups/ 15 push ups/ 45s plank
  • Evening: 1 hour BJJ and 45 minutes MMA

Breakfast:

  • Daily Detox Drink
  • Apple oatmeal whole wheat muffin
  • 1/2 blood orange and blackberries
  • Coffee

Lunch:

  • Soda noodles in peanut Thai dressing
  • Steamed broccoli, red pepper, and shiitake
  • Tofu baked in teriyaki sauce
  • Coffee

Afternoon Snack:

  • Hummus with carrots, cucumbers, celery, and 4 green olives
  • Spiced black tea
  • Pre-classes: KIND bar

Dinner:

  • Indian spiced chickpea and greens stew
  • 1/4 piece of whole wheat Naan
  • 2 (OMG, I’m slipping) pieces of dark chocolate
