Ship’s Log–February 20th

Why can’t I just eat chocolate all day and still be healthy and fit, huh? I let myself have some again tonight, and overdid it bit, with 4 squares of the dark ambrosia.

Fitness:

  • Morning: February Ab Challenge Day 20 (60 sit ups/ 18 push ups/ 55s plank)
  • Evening: 45 minutes BJJ and 45 minutes of MMA

Breakfast:

  • Daily Detox Drink
  • Strawberries, blueberries, banana, cinnamon, walnuts, quinoa, and soy yogurt
  • Coffee

Lunch:

  • Salad: red leaf lettuce, romaine, leftover soba noodles, chickpea nuggets, chickpeas, teriyaki tofu, tomato, red onion, avocado, miso, sriracha, and tangerine balsamic
  • Iced New Orleans style coffee with soy milk

Afternoon:

  • Apple with almond butter
  • Handful of cashews

Dinner:

  • Whole wheat calzone stuffed with kale, sundries tomatoes, onions, garlic, and tofu, topped with pizza sauce
  • Baby romaine with balsamic vinegar
  • Dark chocolate with sea salt
