Ship’s Log–April 19th


Today was a recovery day, both from yesterday’s run and the week of traveling. The dojo was closed, so I had the perfect excuse to take it easy and focus on family time.


  • 1 mile walk in the park


  • Whole wheat waffle with raspberry syrup, 1/2 banana, and walnuts
  • Coffee with soy creamer

Morning Snack:

  • Small cup of coffee with soy creamer
  • Orange


  • Chips, salsa, and guacamole
  • Veggie soft tacos
  • Rice and black beans

Afternoon Snack:

  • Cold brewed coffee with soy milk


  • Whole wheat pasta with vegan sausages and tomato basil cream sauce
  • Sautéed mixed greens (kale, broccolini, spinach) and garlic
  • Carrot cake
  • Blackberry shine and soda
  • Red wine
  • Dark chocolate covered peppermint patty
