Ship’s Log–May 3rd & 4th

I hit the wall this weekend. From Sunday April 27th through Saturday May 3rd, I put in about 8 hours of often intense effort working out. This may have been too much for my body, and I was feeling run down. So Sunday’s 9 mile training run was brutal, and I completely crashed once it was done. I alternated between napping and eating, doing too much of both. I didn’t really track my meals and snacks, mainly because I was too tired to even manage that effort.

But I can assure you it was not pretty.

Tomorrow I’ll take the day off exercise completely, even the yoga, and let my poor body rest and recover.
