Ship’s Log–May 20th

The munchies hit me HARD today. Gosh. I grazed on snack foods all afternoon. At one point, I thought it might be because I was running a little low on protein, so I made a protein shake to see if that helped curb my appetite. Nope. It does appear that my daily intake came in at just around the amount of calories I burned, though not anywhere near the 500 calorie deficit I was aiming for.

Still coughing, though. Still. Stupid. Coughing.

Fitness:

  • 2 hour birding walk
  • 1 hour BJJ

Breakfast:

  • Multigrain toaster waffles with peanut butter, banana, and maple syrup
  • Small dish of blueberries, strawberries, and blackberries
  • Coffee with vanilla stevia

Lunch:

  • Red leaf lettuce, romaine, kale, Sicilian lemon white balsamic, black beans, salsa, guacamole, and plantain chips
  • Cucumber water
  • Raspberry fig bars
  • Coffee with vanilla stevia

Afternoon Snack-a-thon:

  • Multiple servings of veggie chips and freeze dried green beans
  • SunWarrior Warrior Blend Raw Vegan Chocolate Protein mixed with Almond Milk Plus (a higher protein almond milk, which I do not recommend. Yuck)
  • A couple of handfuls of dried fruit and nut mix and some dark chocolate

Dinner:

  • Amy’s Kitchen vegan California burger on 1/2 of a wrap with lettuce, tomato, mustard, and BBQ sauce
  • Polenta fries
