Ship’s Log–June 3rd

I’m trying hard to not overdo it this week, as my body rests up and recovers ahead of the weekend. It’s easy to rest, if only because I am feeling so drained after last week’s effort…though to be fair the fact that I was out working late last night probably helped me not want to pouch too hard today.

Heck, I had to force myself to just get through one fairly low-intensity class at the dojo before heading home to crash.

Fitness:

  • 1 hour BJJ class

Breakfast:

  • Cinnamon raisin Ezekiel muffin with peanut butter
  • Smoothie: banana, frozen cherries, frozen blueberries, mixed greens, Vega One Vanilla Bean, and water
  • Coffee with vanilla stevia and almond milk

Lunch:

  • Quesadilla: Tofu andouille sausage and daiya cheddar grilled in wrap and topped with guacamole
  • Gazpacho
  • Coffee with vanilla stevia and almond milk
  • Raspberry fig bars

Afternoon Snacks:

  • Wasa crackers with macadamia nut cheese and hummus
  • Dried fruit, nuts, and marshmallows

Dinner:

  • Boca burger on whole wheat bun with lettuce, tomato, pickles, BBQ sauce, and mustard
  • Side salads: cole slaw, potato salad, brown rice pasta salad
