Ship’s Log–June 17th

My stomach was feeling a little better today, though I decided not to try pushing another salad on it just yet. I also held myself to one class only tonight, to keep from overdoing it.

I don’t know if it’s the heat, a stomach bug, a touch of food poisoning, too much cheating on the food plan, or just extended troubles from running too hard in the heat on race day, but I have not been at 100% since race day, and it’s getting a little effing tiresome.

Fitness:

  • 1 hour BJJ

Breakfast:

  • Bowl of fruit with blueberry soy yogurt and granola
  • Coffee with vanilla stevia and almond milk

Morning Snack:

  • Earl grey tea with almond milk
  • Whole wheat toast with peanut butter and cherry preserves
  • Handful of chocolate chips

Lunch:

  • Tempeh slabs seared with Korean BBQ Sauce on whole grain flat with cole slaw
  • Red grapes
  • Coffee with vanilla stevia and almond milk

Afternoon Snack:

  • Kind Plus blueberry pecan bar

Dinner:

  • Boca burger on whole grain flat with lettuce, tomato, and mustard
  • Kale sautéed with coconut oil, Old Bay seasoning, and a pinch of nooch
  • Handful of chocolate chips
