Ship’s Log–July 8th

Last night I was out late for work, and didn’t get much more then 6 hours of sleep. This is not enough for me. Not nearly enough. When I get less than 8 hours, I really struggle with snacking the following day…which means that today was probably not the best day for Thing 1 to bake a ¬†double batch of brownies.

They were delicious.

Fitness:

  • 30 minutes MMA Fighter Fitness training

Breakfast:

  • Whole wheat everything bagel with peanut butter
  • Coffee with vanilla stevia and almond milk

Morning Snack:

  • Iced tea
  • Blueberry KIND grain bar

Lunch:

  • Amy’s Kitchen California burger on whole grain flat with lettuce, tomato, red onion, spicy pickle slices, and mustard
  • Pickled bean salad
  • Watermelon
  • Coffee with cardamom, vanilla stevia, and almond milk

Afternoon Snack:

  • Whole wheat brownie
  • Coffee, black

Dinner:

  • The last of the leftover whole wheat pasta with black-eyed peas and kale
  • Another brownie

Late Night:

  • Boddington’s Ale
  • Hummus and rice crackers
  • Even more brownie
