Ship’s Log–July 28th

Back into my normal rhythm today. I’m all bloated and drained from the weekend of fun. I did bring home a small bag of salt water taffy for myself to nurse over the week, but the dogs found it, leaving me with almost none. Thanks, dogs, I guess.

Fitness:

  • 30 minute stroll on the boardwalk
  • 45 minutes MMA class, during which I was struggling a bit. I’m clearly not at 100% power.

Breakfast:

  • Peanut butter, raspberry jam, and banana on whole wheat toast
  • Coffee with vanilla stevia and almond milk

Lunch:

  • Tempeh seared with Korean BBQ sauce served on a whole grain flat with cole slaw
  • Peach puree and blueberry lemonade seltzer
  • Coffee with vanilla stevia and almond milk
  • Small slice of birthday cake

Afternoon Snack:

  • Kevita probiotic drink
  • Dad’s herbal popcorn
  • A few pieces of salt water taffy and fudge

Dinner:

  • Taco salad: romaine, red leaf lettuce, salsa, black beans, guacamole, and Daiya cheddar with corn chips
  • A few sips of blackberry moonshine
