Ship’s Log–August 2nd

My knee was alright this morning, then crappy again by evening. I just don’t know what’s wrong with it, but the pattern sure is weird. I’m starting to suspect  it’s a pinched nerve rather than a problem with the knee itself. Fortunately the forecast for tomorrow morning looks terrible, so I’ll probably be putting my long run off until Monday, forcing me to give me knee a rest day. Hopefully that will help whatever is causing the pain.

Weight lost since July 30th: -2.7 pounds. A slight bounce up from yesterday, probably due to those salty NatureBox snacks.

Fitness:

  • 1 1/2 hours of classes (45 minutes MMA & 45 minutes no-gi)

Breakfast:

  • Whole wheat everything bagel with peanut butter and tofu cream cheese
  • Small glass of fresh orange juice
  • Coffee with vanilla stevia and almond milk

Lunch:

  • 7 grain bread with hummus, pickled peppers, and spinach
  • Coffee with vanilla stevia and almond milk

Afternoon Snack @ the Movies (saw Guardians of the Galaxy, which was FUN):

  • Popcorn
  • Mini oreos
  • Diet Coke

Dinner:

  • Tempeh avocado wrap
  • Sweet and spicy corn chips
  • Green goddess juice
  • Small piece of vegan chocolate
