Ship’s Log–August 15th

I didn’t plan to eat so many truffles today. Thing 1 and I had stopped in at the Lindt store while shopping just to have one each, but when I agreed to sign up for the club card, they gave us another 17 for free. We agreed to make them last a week at least, but then got home and realized that Thing 2 was going to race us to the bottom of the bag.

At 80 calories a pop, this was one expensive splurge. I am not going to loose those pounds if I keep splurging on sugar, am I.

Weight change since July 30th: -3 pounds

Fitness:

  • 3 mile recovery run (it was supposed to be speed work, but my legs are whining a lot, so we took it easy instead)

Breakfast:

  • Whole wheat blueberry pancakes with peach, pecan, and maple syrup
  • Coffee with vanilla stevia and almond milk

Lunch:

  • Soft corn tacos stuffed with black beans, tempeh bacon, mole sauce, homemade guacamole, and peri-peri
  • Mixed lettuces with more guacamole and Sicilian lemon white balsamic
  • Coffee with vanilla stevia and almond milk
  • Microwave S’more

Afternoon Snack:

  • Lindt truffles 2? 4? Too many
  • Popcorn

Dinner:

  • 1 vegan hot dog on white wheat bun with mustard and sauerkraut
  • Cole slaw
  • 1/4 cantaloupe
  • Qasa cracker with hummus
  • 2 more truffles
