Ship’s Log–September 11th

I wanted to run today, but it’s so hot and humid out that I was sweating just sitting in the house. I’ll try tomorrow, when the weather is supposed to be cooler.

Distance to Goal Weight: 19.9 pounds

Fitness:

  • Morning: 1.5 miles stroll in the park

Breakfast:

  • Smoothie: banana, frozen blueberries, kale, red leaf lettuce, romaine, Vega Protein Powder, flax seed, and water
  • Blueberry whole grain corn muffin with peanut butter and raspberry preserves
  • Coffee with vanilla stevia and almond milk

Morning Snack:

  • Iced coffee with vanilla stevia and almond milk

Lunch:

  • Red cabbage with tempeh bacon, shiitake, raisins, sriracha, and balsamic vineger
  • Wasa crackers with cashew cheese and cucumbers
  • Raw vegan freezer fudge (equal parts coconut oil, cocoa powder, and maple syrup with a dash of vanilla and salt)

Afternoon Snack:

  • Apple with peanut butter
  • Another cracker with cashew cheese
  • Handful of granola

Dinner:

  • Red lentil stew with sweet potatoes, spinach, and coconut milk
  • Wasa crackers

Late Night:

  • Harvest Ale
  • Pita chips with hummus
  • Handful of granola and almonds
