Ship’s Log–September 13th

I don’t know why I had cake and truffles today. The truffles have become a bad habit that Thing 1 and I engage in when we hit the local outlet mall, as we did today. Then the Hub and Thing 1 ran out to pick up something for us to eat before tomorrow’s run, and when they called to ask if they could bring home some pieces of vegan cake, I said yes. Stupid sugar and fat. Why can’t I quit you?

Distance to goal weight: 20 pounds

Fitness:

  • 45 minutes Muay Thai
  • 45 minutes MMA

Breakfast:

  • Whole wheat everything bagel with peanut butter
  • Coffee with vanilla stevia and almond milk

Lunch:

  • Tofu scramble with red onion, garlic, bell pepper, carrots, and broccoli
  • Whole wheat pita
  • Cold brew New Orleans style coffee with almond milk

Afternoon Snack:

  • 2 Lindt truffles
  • 1 banana

Dinner:

  • Whole wheat pasta with pesto and vegan sausages
  • Mixed greens with tomatoes, Tuscan Herb olive oil and lavender vinegar
  • 1/4 slice each vanilla almond and carrot cake
