Ship’s Log–September 24th

My legs felt a little tired today, but the “I’ve been beaten with a lead pipe” sensation is much diminished. I took my legs out for a spin this morning and managed a slow (very, very slow) 3+ miles without too much pain.

Late morning I learned that my hearing for the evening had been cancelled, and I decided to hit up my BJJ class with my new found free time. That was a nice idea, but when evening rolled around, I hit the wall and needed a hot bath and an early bedtime instead of a hour of hard rolling. The Hub went to the local natural market and grabbed some dinner, so I wouldn’t have to cook. Take out also wasn’t part of my plan, but the vegan pizza was appreciated.

Distance to goal weight: 21.6 pounds

Fitness:

  • 3.25 mile slow, easy jog

Breakfast:

  • Waffles with peanut butter, banana, and maple syrup
  • 1/2 broiled grapefruit with strawberries
  • Coffee with vanilla stevia and almond milk

Morning Snack:

  • Green tea with peppermint and ginger

Lunch:

  • Baby romaine with tomatoes, cucumber, red onion, green olives, and balsamic vinegar
  • Wasa crackers with hummus
  • Coffee with stevia and almond milk
  • Dark chocolate with almonds

Afternoon Snack:

  • Green tea with peppermint and ginger
  • Smoothie: Vega One French Vanilla, a few strawberries, 2 tbs rolled oats, and water

Dinner:

  • Vegan pizza and a few corn chips
  • Moroccan Mint Green Tea
