Ship’s Log–September 25th

We had a Nor’easter today, and the storm system left me feeling drained. I didn’t want to do anything…and so I did nothing but sit around and catch up on my DVR’d programs. Sometimes doing nothing is what your body needs most.

Distance to goal weight: 22 pounds

Breakfast:

  • Whole wheat blueberry pancakes with sliced strawberries, almonds, and maple syrup
  • Coffee with vanilla stevia and almond milk

Morning Snack:

  • Earl grey tea

Lunch:

  • Tofu scrambled with kale and tomatoes
  • 1 slice whole wheat toast
  • Coffee with vanilla stevia and almond milk

Afternoon Snack:

  • Dark chocolate covered raisins
  • Popcorn

Dinner:

  • Whole wheat pasta with tomato sauce
  • Vegan “chicken” strips
  • Mixed greens with balsamic vinegar
