Ship’s Log–October 1st

I was out late last night. Way too late. Combined with today’s dreary weather, this left me feeling drained, tired, and hungry. I think I snacked more today than I have written down, but I can’t remember anything more. Overall my eating wasn’t great. Too much packed crap, not enough fresh fruits and veggies. Oh well. We’re all allowed a mediocre day once in a while

Distance to goal weight: 20.1 pounds

Fitness:

  • 45 minute BJJ class

Breakfast:

  • Flax seed waffles with peanut butter, banana slices, and maple syrup
  • Smoothie: frozen blueberries, Vega tropical protein, flax seed, and water
  • Coffee with sugar and almond milk

Morning Snack:

  • Small bowl of corn flakes with strawberries and almond milk

Lunch:

  • Black bean chili with corn tortillas
  • Coffee with sugar and almond milk
  • Praline pumpkin seeds

Afternoon Snack:

  • Rice cakes with hummus. More of them than I care to admit
  • Sea salt sun-crisps
  • Green tea with honey and lemon

Dinner:

  • Tofu hot dogs on whole wheat buns with mustard, ketchup, and relish
  • Potato and Sweet potato chips
  • White sangria
