Ship’s Log–October 19th

I hardly slept last night. The arm that had been treated to an arm bar during yesterday’s testing ached so badly that it woke me up every time I rolled over. During the day today the pain lessened a bit, but never really left me alone. The range of motion in that joint is slightly reduced, so I suspect that something is out of alignment. If it is still like this tomorrow, I’ll drop by my chiropractor to see if they can pop it back in.

I decided to take today as a rest day to give my body a chance to heal.

Distance to goal weight: 22 pounds

Fitness:

  • None, I took the day off

Breakfast:

  • Coffee chip parve muffin from the local bagel shop. Contains egg but no dairy
  • Coffee with sugar and almond milk

Lunch:

  • Vegetable quinoa soup
  • Whole wheat bread

Afternoon Snack:

  • 2 truffles
  • Coffee with sugar and almond milk
  • Sweet Thai KIND Strong Bar

Dinner:

  • Whole wheat orcchiette with olive oil caramelized onions, garlic, peas, vegan sausage, and fauxmesan
  • Mixed greens, grape tomato, cucumber, olive oil, and lavender vinegar
  • Pumpkin Ale

Late Night:

  • Sangria
  • Freeze dried green beans
