Ship’s Log–October 29th

My body hurts. I’m swollen and sore. My joints all hurt. I’m exhausted. It might be all the salt and sugar I’m eating, or all the vigorous training to prepare for Sunday.

Whatever it is, I’m want it to stop.

Distance to goal weight: 23.6 pounds

Fitness:

  • 45 minutes MMA
  • 1 hour BJJ

Breakfast:

  • 2 scrambled eggs with Daiya shreds
  • 1 slice vegan Canadian bacon
  • Sprouted grain Ezekiel muffin
  • Sautéed greens
  • Smoothie: banana, strawberry, pineapple, flax seed and water
  • Coffee with sugar and almond milk

Lunch:

  • Romaine, leftover mixed green salad, vegan “chicken,”diced apples, and tequila lime white balsamic
  • Coffee with sugar and almond milk
  • A few pieces of Halloween candy

Afternoon Snack:

  • Veggie and kale chips
  • Hummus with pretzel chips
  • More candy

Dinner:

  • Homemade whole grain pizza with Daiya shreds and red pepper
  • Mixed greens with lavender vinegar and Tuscan herb olive oil
  • Pint of ale
  • Candy
