Ship’s Log–November 6th

I took today as a rest and recovery day, not so much because I needed a rest and recovery day as because my schedule did not allow for any classes and the weather (cold rain) did not inspire a run. Somehow I managed to still get in the baseline of steps and floors, so the day wasn’t a complete disaster.

Distance to Goal Weight: 20.9 pounds

Fitness:

  • Fitbit metrics: 11,602 steps, 19 floors

Breakfast:

  • 2 scrambled eggs on whole grain wrap with vegan Canadian bacon, wilted greens, and Daiya shreds
  • Smoothie: banana, pineapple, frozen blueberries, flax seed, fresh squeezed orange juice, and water
  • Coffee with vanilla soy milk

Morning Snack:

  • Earl grey tea with honey

Lunch:

  • Homemade fried brown rice with onion, ginger, garlic, carrots, celery, yellow pepper, mushrooms, broccoli, and ground seitan
  • Coffee with vanilla soy milk

Afternoon Snack:

  • Green and peppermint teas with honey
  • Whole grain blueberry corn muffin

Dinner:

  • Lentil vegetable soup topped with roasted seaweed, Fauxmesan, and sriracha

Late Night:

  • Dark chocolate covered frozen bananas
