Ship’s Log–November 8th

PicShellsI’m not sure how well the small changes I’ve made to my diet are working. Overall my weight is down 1.8 pounds this week, which I guess is progress…or just water. Maybe one week isn’t long enough to tell. I’m going to keep with this for another week before doing anything more drastic.

Distance to goal weight: 20.2 pounds

Fitness:

  • Fitbit metrics: 11,428 steps, 11 floors
  • 45 minutes MMA
  • 45 minutes no-gi BJJ

Breakfast:

  • Whole wheat everything bagel with scrambled egg, diced vegan Canadian bacon, and Daiya cheddar
  • Fresh squeezed orange juice
  • Coffee with vanilla soy milk

Lunch:

  • Tempeh, red onion, carrots, yellow pepper, mushrooms, celery and broccoli stir fried in coconut oil and teriyaki sauce served with brown rice noodles
  • Coffee with almond milk

Afternoon Snack:

  • Sliced apple

Dinner:

  • Roasted fingerline potato, Brussel sprouts, and grape tomatoes
  • Tofurky chicken and apple vegan sausage
  • Red wine
  • Frozen Milky Way bar (for family movie night)
