Ship’s Log–November 18th

I’m not coping well with stress this week, and my workload is making it hard to get in my usual exercise sessions. Making progress towards my goal weight is going to be hard.

Distance to goal weight: 20.6 pounds

Fitness:

  • Fitbit metrics: 8,067 steps, 13 floors
  • 1 hour BJJ competition team class

Breakfast:

  • Whole wheat tortilla with 2 scrambled eggs, seitan bacon, Daiya shreds, and wilted greens (kale, chard, and spinach)
  • Whole fruit juice: banana, pineapple, whole oranges, frozen blueberries, flax and chia seed, and water
  • Coffee with vanilla soy milk

Morning Snack:

  • Peppermint green tea

Lunch:

  • Small bowl of black bean and sweet potato chili
  • 1 slice whole grain bread
  • Mixed greens with clementine and red onion dressed in tequila lime vinegar and chipotle olive oil
  • Coffee with vanilla soy milk

Afternoon Snack:

  • Ezekiel muffin with peanut butter and raw honey
  • Vanilla mint chai with honey and vanilla soy milk

Dinner:

  • Whole wheat pasta with peas, onions, vegan “sausage,” and fauxmesan
  • Roasted grape tomatoes
  • Mixed greens with raspberry balsamic
  • Peppermint truffle
  • Dark chocolate covered banana
