Ship’s Log–November 24th

Words cannot describe the stress I am under. I have been trying to not eat my way through this, and tonight I fell off that wagon with a late night snack attack. If you had told kiddie me that rice cakes and hummus would be comfort food for adult me, I never would have believed it…but there it is.

Distance to goal weight: 21.3 pounds. Once again, I’m all swollen. I can’t even get my rings on.

Fitness:

  • Fitbit metrics: 13,426 steps, 19 floors
  • 4 mile easy run

Breakfast:

  • Whole wheat wrap with scrambled eggs, vegan Canadian bacon, wilted spinach, and Daiya shreds
  • Whole fruit juice: banana, pineapple, blackberry, frozen mango, flax and chia seed, fresh squeezed orange juice, and water
  • Coffee with vanilla soy milk

Morning Snack (post-run):

  • Vanilla soy milk
  • Pecan bar

Lunch:

  • Vegan chicken breast with BBQ sauce
  • Roasted sweet potato with hummus and BBQ mayo
  • Mixed greens with tequila lime vinegar and chipotle olive oil
  • Coffee with soy milk
  • Dark chocolate truffle

Afternoon Snack:

  • Rice cake with hummus

Dinner:

  • Vegan burger on whole wheat with Daiya cheddar, lettuce, tomato, and vegan BBQ mayo
  • Potato chips
  • Clementine
  • Peppermint green tea

Late Night:

  • Vanilla porter
  • Rice cakes with hummus
  • 2 truffles
