Ship’s Log–December 2nd

Diving back into my regular routine also means diving back into my ongoing stress, hence all the chocolate and the daily alcohol. As coping mechanisms go it’s not ideal, but it could be worse.

Distance to goal weight: 22.7 pounds. That’s 1.3 pounds of water flushed out since yesterday, but I’m still having trouble getting my rings on over my swollen fingers.

Fitness:

  • Fitbit metrics: 5,993 steps; 3 floors
  • 1 hour BJJ

Breakfast:

  • Whole wheat wrap with scrambled eggs, seating bacon, wilted greens, and Daiya shreds
  • Whole fruit juice: banana, pineapple, blackberries, frozen blueberries, flax and chia seeds, and fresh squeezed orange juice
  • Coffee with vanilla soy milk

Morning Snack:

  • Peppermint green tea

Lunch:

  • Quinoa vegetable soup
  • Grilled Daiya cheese and tofurky on whole wheat
  • Coffee with almond milk
  • Cape Cod Candy

Afternoon Snack:

  • Carrots and hummus
  • Chai tea with honey
  • Truffle
  • Fig bar

Dinner:

  • Homemade veggie pepperoni pizza
  • Mixed greens with raspberry balsamic
  • Boddington’s Ale
  • Handful of pistachios
  • 3 truffles
