Ship’s Log–January 13th, 2015

There’s no denying it. I am sick, sick, sick. No working out, and barely working at all. I barely tracked what I ate. I muddled through the day and then struggled through my hearing in the evening.

At this point the best i can hope for is to have this thing licked in a week, rather than the two to three weeks I’m hearing it has lingered with some other people in my circle. Rest, liquids, and hope. That’s my plan.

Distance to goal weight: 23 pounds

Fitness:

  • 10 push ups, sit ups, and squats

Breakfast:

  • Whole grain English muffin with 1 egg, Daiya cheddar, and vegan Canadian bacon
  • Whole fruit juice: banana, pineapple, blackberries, cara cara orange, frozen blueberries, flax and chia seed, and water
  • Coffee with vanilla soy milk

Morning Snack:

  • Tea with honey and lemon

Lunch:

  • Unchicken noodle soup
  • Whole grain tortilla with hummus, roasted red peppers, and mixed greens
  • Coffee with vanilla soy milk
  • That brownie I said I wasn’t going to eat

Afternoon Snack:

  • a whole lot of stuff. I grazed all afternoon. Potato chips, crackers, a truffle, some cashews.

Dinner:

  • Black bean chili and corn chips
  • Peppermint tea

Late Night:

  • Chamomile tea
  • Crackers and hummus
