2015 Week 5 Progress Report

I woke up stiff and very sore this morning. I could only just barely touch my own toes, a task which normally presents no challenge. My shoulder, back, and chest muscles obviously need at least another day of rest and possibly that visit to the chiropractor that I should have done yesterday.

Normally when I’ve got this sort of pain in my upper body, I would skip the dojo and ht the trails. Sadly, my running trails are not an option just now, so I was stuck taking another rest day.

Distance to goal weight: 22.8 pounds

Fitness:

  • Nope. Another day resting the sore shoulder

Breakfast:

  • Whole wheat everything bagel with peanut butter
  • Medium glass of orange juice
  • Coffee with vanilla soy milk

Lunch @ Pop’s Garage:

  • Chips with salsa and guacamole
  • Cup of quinoa and mushroom soup
  • 2 soft veggie tortillas
  • Iced tea

Afternoon Snack:

  • Coffee with vanilla soy milk
  • Small dish of chocolate chips, raisins, and almonds

Dinner:

  • Whole wheat pasta with tomato sauce and vegan sausage crumbles
  • Mixed greens with balsamic vinegar and white truffle olive oil
  • Pinto grigio
  • Small dish of chocolate chips, raisins, and walnuts
