Ship’s Log–February 12th, 2015

I really want chocolate today. CRAVED it. All the Valentine’s Day advertising is getting to me. I don’t know how I made it to the end of the day without giving in and stuffing my face with candy.

Distance to goal weight: 22.5 pounds

Fitness:

  • 1 hour BJJ
  • 45 minutes MMA

Breakfast:

  • Homemade whole grain vegan blueberry corn muffin
  • 1 scrambled egg
  • 1/2 grapefruit broiled with sliced strawberry
  • Coffee with vanilla soy milk

Morning Snack:

  • Peppermint green tea with honey and lemon

Lunch:

  • Black beans with mole sauce and salsa
  • Kale salad
  • Coffee with vanilla soy milk

Afternoon Snack:

  • Tofurky with macadamia nut cheese and red grapes
  • Pre-class: almond date balls

Dinner:

  • Risotto with mushrooms, peas, and vegan sausage
  • Mixed greens with grape tomatoes and cucumbers with balsamic vinegar and a wee bit of olive oil
