Ship’s Log–February 15th, 2015

OMG it is cold here. The temperature was single digit (below zero with the wind chill) when I went out to shovel the fresh couple of inches of powder off our walks and driveways. Thankfully the snow was light and there wasn’t too much of it, so Thing 1 and I were able to get it all done in two 15 minute sessions, during which I managed to sweat through my clothing…I was working as fast as I could to get back into the house as soon as possible, and so I guess it was a pretty decent cardio session.

Distance to goal weight: 23.4 pounds

Fitness:

  • 30 minutes shoveling

Breakfast:

  • 2 slices whole grain French Toast with mixed berries and maple syrup
  • Small glass of orange juice
  • Coffee with vanilla soy milk

Morning Snack:

  • Hot chocolate with soy milk and 2 marshmallows

Lunch:

  • Black bean soup with corn chips
  • Coffee with vanilla soy milk

Afternoon Snack:

  • Peppered tofurky with macadamia nut cheese
  • Red grapes
  • Peppermint green tea with honey and lemon

Dinner:

  • Homemade vegan pepperoni whole wheat pizza
  • Romaine, tomatoes, cucumbers, and red onion dressed with balsamic vinegar and olive oil
  • Pale Ale

Movie Night (we watched Edge of Tomorrow, which is great):

  • Small bag of peanut M&M’s
  • Vanilla Coke Zero
