Ship’s Log–February 26th, 2015

I had a fun workout today. Both Things joined me, and we did an hour of circuit training using weights, the mini trampoline, and the bosu. Their company brought a bit of a sense of play to the hour, as well as a little friendly competition to see who could go harder. It made another day waiting for the ice to melt easier to bear.

Distance to goal weight: 24.3 pounds

Fitness:

  • 1 hour MMA fighter fitness training

Breakfast:

  • Pumpernickel wrap with scrambled egg, seating bacon, wilted greens, and Daiya cheddar
  • 1/2 grapefruit with sliced strawberries
  • Coffee with vanilla soy milk

Morning Snack:

  • Chocolate mint oolong tea

Lunch:

  • Black bean chili with a whole grain English muffin
  • Coffee with vanilla soy beans
  • Peanut M&Ms

Afternoon Snack:

  • Hummus with carrots and cucumber
  • Palm full of raisins and almonds

Dinner:

  • Vegan “beef” burger on whole wheat with Daiya swiss, tomato, lettuce, and BBQ sauce
  • BBQ potato chips
  • Cabernet
  • Samoas, because it’s girl scout cookie season again
