Ship’s Log–March 10th, 2015

Tonight’s classes were awesome. I was able to push myself hard, ending the second class with just a little gas left in my tank. This felt wonderful, especially after so many weeks feeling just a bit under the weather.

Fitness:

  • 1 hour BJJ
  • 45 minutes MMA

Breakfast:

  • Whole grain English muffin with egg, Daiya cheddar, and vegan Canadian bacon
  • Smoothie: banana, blueberries, frozen cherries, mixed greens, flax and chia seed, soy milk, and water
  • Coffee with vanilla soy milk

Morning Snack:

  • Peppermint green tea

Lunch:

  • Sweet potato, red pepper, shiitake, and tofurky sausage cooked with sweet fry spice and sriracha
  • Mixed greens with salsa
  • Coffee with vanilla soy milk
  • Dark chocolate and 2 thin mints

Afternoon Snack:

  • Apple with peanut butter
  • Chocolate mint oolong tea with local honey
  • Pre class: Blueberry fig bars, and then a second package of fig bars when I felt like I needed a little something more

Dinner:

  • Vegan beef burger on whole wheat bun with Daiya cheddar, tomato, lettuce, pickles, and BBQ sauce
  • Potato chips
  • Pint of Moon Run
  • Thin mints and dark chocolate
